To finally overcome the Drekh'Nar, men tried to summon a very powerful
dragon, called Python. When they were finally successful, Python first
behaved in the intended way. It killed hundreds, thousands of Drekh'Nar
and at first, men thought they would win the war. But soon they had to
recognize their fault. After two months, Python left Drekh'Nar territ- ory and reached the lands of men---and continued with his attacks.
He made no difference between men and Drekh'Nar, and men failed in cas-
ting a ban on Python. So the monster raged for another two months.

Finally, Muin, a human priest, united all inhabitants of the biggest
towns and settlements of Earth in a big, long prayer. Men prayed to
their gods, they begged for assistance against the enemy which caused
much more pain than expected. Two months passed.

Six months after Python had been summoned, the gods sent help. Apoll,
who usually cared about light and art, lured Python into an abyss far
away from both men and Drekh'Nar civilization. The abyss was inside
an old temple, and it is said that even today Python is lurking inside
the darkness of its prison.

And the war? The war continued, in the way Eris had planned it...
