Scratchbox Mirror

This is an unofficial mirror of Scratchbox Repository, the cross-compilation toolkit originally developed by Nokia.


Due to server available disk space, only nokia n800 cross-compilation files where added.

A recommended environment for cross-compilation with Scratchbox is Debian 6 (Squeeze). You can download the ISO here:
📀 debian-6.0.10-i386-DVD-1.iso


Since Debian 6 is an old operating system, it is necessary to update the system's /etc/apt/sources.list to use:
http://archive.debian.org

Alternatively — and preferably — you can use the package repository included on the installation DVDs themselves.

This mirror is provided for archival and research purposes. If you experience any issues, feel free to reach out.





How to host local repository in device

If you manage to download an entire repository, with all necessary files (.deb, Release, packages, etc), you can create a local repo.

  • Edit your sources.list: Open your APT sources file with your preferred editor, for example: 
    sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list.d/local.list
    and add this line: 
    deb [trusted=yes] file:/media/mmc2 ./
    The example above is for the Removable Memory card for the N800, but you can set any path for your repo.

  • Update APT: Refresh APT so it recognizes the new local repository: 
    sudo apt update
  • Install packages: Now you can install packages normally with: 
    sudo apt install package-name
